Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Lab Metrology Technician to advance metrology-based product analysis for the GPV/POE program. The role focuses on calibrating lab instruments, applying regulatory guidelines, and collaborating with investigations to scale metrology tools and AI-driven efficiencies.

You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, and FDA standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience cross-functionally and across regions.
• Experience in oral and written communication.
• Experience in trust and safety compliance or risk.
• Experience using Excel and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing metrology-based tools and systems for scalable product analysis.
• Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Interpreting, analyzing, and communicating results to stakeholders.
• Providing KPIs and periodic reports on lab impact and output.
• Following SOPs and good laboratory practices.
• Participating in audits and maintaining regulatory knowledge.
• Generating and updating SOPs and test methods.
• Troubleshooting lab issues and proposing solutions.
• Providing support to team members as needed.
• Maintaining detailed records of all testing performed.
