Sub-Zero, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ, is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality systems across product and process improvements. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers, performing precise metrology work and driving root-cause analysis.
The role requires 5+ years in quality/metrology, GD&T proficiency, and CMM programming. AAS or higher in engineering is preferred; on-site work with strong safety and accountability culture.

The position will report to the Quality Manager under the Quality Engineering Department.

This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. Associates or better in Engineering or related field.
5 + years of experience working in quality, metrology, and a manufacturing environment
Excellent facilitation and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of measurement techniques; including metrology inspection methods, tools, and equipment
Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
Knowledge and use of root cause analysis and quality improvement tools: i.e., histograms, pareto charts, run charts, 5-whys, and cause & effect diagrams
Ability to provide clear direction in assigned projects and complete work in a timely manner
Knowledge and proficiency with CMM programming and ability to create standardized and custom measurement reports
Knowledge and proficiency working with computers and software, i.e., Microsoft Office, Agile, and other manufacturing/quality databases
Knowledge of quality processes, procedures, and Lean Six Sigma principles Experiments
Knowledge and experience using and programming Metrologic and Polyworks software
Experience with 3D CAD software
Experience in the manufacturing of plastic and sheet metal fabricated parts
American Society for Quality - Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or other applicable certifications
