Job summary

Woodgrain in Fresno, CA is seeking a Lead Merchandise Stocker to manage in-store service, inventory replenishment, and customer interactions within high-volume national accounts. The role is labor-intensive and requires lifting up to 50 lbs; you will stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory.

The position offers $23 per hour with a quarterly bonus, plus 75% company-paid medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching up to 3%, and paid time off including holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and your own vehicle.
• This position is very labor intensive and requires the ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform in-store service, manage inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generate weekly credits and provide exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high-volume national account stores.
• THIS IS A LABOR INTESIVE POSITION
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.
• Restore aisle condition by cleaning and straightening stock; restock bins and displays; clear damaged/unsellable material and issue credits.
• Maintain signage and pricing; replenish inventory according to guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with store management and associates; complete tasks and resets of Woodgrain products in stores.

What our Merchandise Stocker does:

• Responsible for learning and performing in-store service, managing inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high volume national account stores
• THIS IS A LABOR INTESIVE POSITION
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.
  • CLEANING: Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service.
  • STRAIGHTENING STOCK: Restocking messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
  • STOCKING: Packing out any freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
  • CULLING: Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit electronically.
  • MERCHANDISING: Maintain signage and pricing to best practice. Move backers to affect perception.
  • ORDERING: Replenish inventory according to published guidelines.
  • CUSTOMER INTERACTION: Build strong dependable relationships with store management and associates.
  • PROJECTS AND TASKS: Merchandising projects and tasks will be assigned by area manager.
• Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores
