Job summary

ms consultants, inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer to lead project production within the Building Systems unit in Columbus, Ohio.

You will own technical content and drive designs for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects nationwide. You will mentor junior engineers, perform HVAC/electrical calculations, and coordinate with in-house disciplines while advancing professional growth and delivering high-quality construction documents in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in MEP engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and production of MEP systems for commercial and institutional facilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in producing high-quality construction documents and specifications.
• Perform preliminary and detailed engineering calculations for HVAC, ventilation, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and water supply systems.
• Coordinate design with architecture, structures, site civil, and landscape teams.
• Contribute to technical decisions and ensure code compliance.
• Participate in cross-training across MEP engineering and support ongoing learning.
