Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to join the MEP team in Newark, DE. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in MEP consulting engineering or related environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience leading MEP project teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong HVAC and mechanical utility system design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the MEP team and provide day-to-day technical guidance.
• Serve as Project Manager and technical lead from planning through construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client communications.
• Provide design leadership for HVAC, mechanical utilities, plumbing, and related systems.
• Review drawings, calculations, and reports while contributing to design efforts.
• Coordinate mechanical work with electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and designers to strengthen the MEP team's capabilities.
• Build client relationships and pursue new project opportunities.
