Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Lead Mentor to monitor and enhance staff skills across its Arizona sites.

You will work with the Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Manager to review safety practices and training needs, helping shape unit training plans. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Associates or higher preferred), 2–5 years in healthcare, and 1–3 years in a training/education role; EMT/CNA certifications are preferred but not

  • Minimum of six months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
  • EMT certification preferred but not required; CNA certification preferred but not required.

Job Summary

The Lead Mentor is responsible for the initial and ongoing monitoring of skills and knowledge of employees assigned to his or her site. Will work closely with the Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Manager in monitoring each unit’s safety practices and training needs. In this role the Lead Mentor will assist in the development and monitoring of each unit’s training plan.

Skills/Requirements
  • Highschool diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
  • Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) ispreferred but not required for this position.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of
    Arizona) is preferred but not required of this position.
