Qualifications

• Active Ohio license required: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
• Experience working with adolescents is required.
• Familiarity with PHP/IOP or other structured behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead group therapy sessions for adolescents in the PHP program.
• Work with adolescents ages 11–17 with emotional/behavioral health concerns.
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment planning.
• Facilitate group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other team members.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and coordinate patient care.
• Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescents.

Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

PsychPlus is hiring a Full-Time PHP Therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Willoughby, Ohio.

This role is an important part of the team in our Partial Hospitalization Program- treating adolescents struggling with mental health challenges. This role includes group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work. We're looking for someone passionate about mental health, ready to make a positive impact on the lives of teens!

What You’ll Do

• Lead group therapy sessions for adolescent clients in the PHP program
• Working with adolescents ages 11–17 experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment planning
• Participate in and facilitate group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care
• Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescent clients

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in PHP, IOP, inpatient, residential, or other structured behavioral health settings preferred
• Experience working with children/adolescents ages 11–17
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Comfortable providing both group and individual therapy
