Job summary

Syneos Health in the United States is seeking a Principal Medical Writer - Publications to lead the preparation of complex medical writing deliverables and define document strategy. You will coordinate activities across departments and guide project teams to meet client objectives.

You will mentor junior writers, ensure adherence to ICH E3 guidelines and SOPs, and collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality publications and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific writing experience across multiple document types.
• Experience with regulatory standards (ICH E3) and SOPs.
• Ability to mentor and lead medical writing teams.
• Excellent client communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex medical writing deliverables and coordinates inter-department activities.
• Produces documents such as protocols, reports, safety updates, and NDA/eCTD submissions.
• Ensures compliance with ICH E3 guidelines and SOPs.
• Mentors less experienced writers and serves as a technical SME.
• Manages reviews and quality control of documents.
