Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Lead Medical Technologist to provide technical and clinical oversight of the laboratory, ensuring quality services and compliance with all applicable standards. The role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager and supports delegated duties signed off by the Medical Director.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, ASCP certification, BLS, and at least four years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory or Medical Laboratory Science.
• Certification through ASCP or equivalent certification.
• Written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical and clinical oversight of the laboratory per applicable standards and policies.
• Support delegated duties as approved by the Medical Director.
• Ensure quality laboratory services are provided in compliance with CLIA ’88 and other regulations.
