Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Lead Medical Technologist to provide on-site technical and clinical oversight of the laboratory. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to supervise multiple departments in a CLIA-certified lab.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field with ASCP certification and at least four years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory, ensuring quality and compliant lab operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field and ASCP certification required.
• Minimum four years of progressive laboratory supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.
• CLIA ’88 knowledge and compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical oversight of the laboratory department on-site.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and policies.
• Coordinate with Laboratory Supervisor/Manager and Medical Director for delegated duties.
• Contribute to quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
