Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, ASCP/NCA certification preferred, and extensive experience in clinical chemistry with strong training and documentation

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Certification by ASCP, NCA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with high complexity CLIA testing required.

Responsibilities

• Develops new tests and testing specialties with physician directors.
• trains staff in the technical specialty and maintains training records.
• Performs moderate and high complexity tests and interprets results.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures specimen labeling and tracking per SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and conducts QC analyses.
