Job summary

Sonova USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Software Verification Manager to lead verification and testing for regulated medical software products.

You will build and guide a high-performing verification team, shaping testing strategy across new development, enhancements, and sustaining releases. You will review requirements, risk documentation, and specifications to establish scope, ensure traceability, and deliver defensible verification evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in software testing/verification/QA roles.
• 5+ years managing software verification/test teams.
• Experience with regulated medical software.
• Strong understanding of verification methodologies and quality practices.
• Experience with requirements-based testing and traceability.
• Hands-on in designing/executing/reviewing test cases.
• Experience with manual and automated testing environments.
• Collaborative across engineering, quality, regulatory, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification across multiple medical software products.
• Manage and develop the verification team.
• Define verification strategies and test coverage across modalities.
• Review requirements, architecture, and risk docs to set scope.
• Ensure traceability and defensible verification evidence.
