Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to design, optimize, and QA radiotherapy plans, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. You will collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists to advance treatment quality.

You will coordinate QA, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance while leading new technology implementations within Radiation Oncology. 40-hour workweek in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.
• Certification by ABR/ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
• Licensure in the state of practice as required.
• Colorado sites require RMP/QI/QE(t).

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans for accuracy and efficacy.
• Provide expert guidance for radiation therapy procedures, technologies, and delivery.
• Lead quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance within the department.
• Coordinate with the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
