Qualifications

• J.D. degree required and licensed in California.
• Minimum 6 years of medical malpractice litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulating discovery and investigation strategy.
• Preparing pleadings, motions and responses to discovery.
• Represent CAP/MPT physicians at deposition in deposition-only cases.
• Mentor junior attorneys and monitor their performance.
• Lead defense strategy and develop case expertise as requested by management.
• Attend court appearances and prepare lawsuits for trial/arbitration.
