K.A. Recruiting seeks an experienced General Laboratory Supervisor for a medical laboratory in Indianapolis, IN. Lead a Clinical Laboratory Team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have MT certification (ASCP or AMT) and hands-on leadership across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and Urinalysis. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MT certification through ASCP or AMT is required.
• Experience in ALL major lab sections, including Blood Bank.
• Strong generalist experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank.
• Previous laboratory supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the general clinical laboratory.
• Supervise, train, and support Medical Technologists and laboratory staff.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely processing of laboratory testing.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with complex laboratory testing.
• Coordinate staffing, workflow, quality control, and performance improvement initiatives.
