Job description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with strong generalist and blood bank experience who is ready to move into or continue growing in a laboratory leadership role.

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-9:30 PM
• No weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• ASAP start available

In this role, you'll supervise daily laboratory operations and support staff across Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank. You'll help maintain quality standards, provide technical guidance and troubleshooting, support high-complexity testing, and collaborate with laboratory leadership to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related science
• MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent certification required
• At least 4 years of high-complexity laboratory experience
• Previous supervisory, lead technologist, coordinator, or other laboratory leadership experience
• Strong generalist experience, including:
  • Blood Bank and antibody identification
  • Automated and manual Hematology, including abnormal differentials
  • Automated Chemistry
  • Urinalysis and Coagulation
  • Manual kit testing

Preferred:

• Beckman instrumentation experience
• EPIC Beaker and SoftBank experience
• Hospital laboratory experience
