Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related life sciences preferred.
• 3 years of hospital experience required.
• ASCP/AMT/AAB certification required by Georgia regulations; AAB provisional certification not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of operation in assigned laboratory section/team/department; maintain records, reports, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate tasks, priorities and achievements with management.
• Assist with test validations, regulatory compliance, quality control/assurance, and maintenance; perform tests to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
