Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Lead, Medical Equipment Technician to ensure safe delivery, setup, and education of home medical equipment in customers' homes or clinical settings. You will manage a territory, perform setup and training, and document visits and outcomes.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license. On-call duties, hazmat awareness, and strong communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of related experience, preferably in the HME delivery industry.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Manages territory to reach service goals and deliver equipment including oxygen as required.
• Educates customers in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting.
• Completes patient visit reports following setup and follow-up visits.
• Assists with customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
• Maintains home oxygen systems with scheduled visits.
• Assumes on-call duties outside business hours.
