Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist to lead the dosimetry team within the Radiation Oncology department. The role involves direct collaboration with the Supervisor Medical Dosimetrist, oversight of all dosimetry for oncology patients, and ensuring quality assurance across the division.

Requirements include a CMD with at least 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Certified Medical Dosimetrist with minimum of 3 years full-time experience in Radiation Oncology including IMRT treatment planning.
• Demonstrates advanced leadership skills.
• Certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with the Supervisor Medical Dosimetrist as a lead member of the Treatment Planning Team.
• Responsible for all dosimetry performed on all radiation oncology patients under the supervision and medical authority of the Radiation Oncologists.
• Responsible for the technical supervision, coordination and quality assurance of the dosimetry division of the radiation oncology department.
• Assists the Supervisor Medical Dosimetrist as needed with roles such as teaching, completing projects, and distribution of workload.
