Northside Hospital is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist to join the Radiation Oncology team in the Atlanta area. You will work directly with the Medical Physicist as part of the Treatment Planning Team to develop and optimize patient treatment plans.

The role requires MDCB certification (or board eligible within 2 years), strong teamwork, and the ability to communicate complex planning concepts to Radiation Oncologists and Therapists while maintaining strict radiation safety standards and

Formación

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist or MDCB Board Eligible.
• Must be certified within 2 years; demonstrates advanced teamwork.
• Understand radiotherapy planning to derive computerized plans and communicate with physicians and therapists.
• Performs routine duties independent of supervision; CPR knowledge.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and NRC rules and requirements.
• Interprets and executes treatment plans per defined protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Works directly with the Medical Physicist as a member of the Treatment Planning Team.
• Responsible for all dosimetry performed on all radiation oncology patients under supervision of Radiation Oncologists.
• Provides technical supervision, coordination and quality assurance of the dosimetry division.
