Job summary

Eurofins USA Medical Devices seeks a senior scientist to lead microbiology testing programs and medical device reprocessing initiatives. You will guide audits, client engagements, and business development with strong scientific leadership and technical writing skills.

Required are 5+ years in microbiology, exposure to GMP/GLP standards, and experience with ELN/LIMS in regulated environments. This full‑time role is based near Lancaster, PA with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or microbiology.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), Lab Information Management System (LIMS).
• Solid familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards (GMP, GLP, USP, ISO, AATCC, etc).
• Prior experience in microbiology – especially antimicrobial and reprocessing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for audits, client interactions, and business development activities.
• Provide scientific leadership on medical device reprocessing and microbiology testing programs.
• Support method development, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate complex technical information to clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
