You will partner with clinicians, drive documentation improvements, and conduct internal audits to optimize accuracy and compliance. The role emphasizes ongoing training and data-driven process enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical coding experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• CPC certification required by AAPC.
• CCS certification required by AHIMA.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team of medical coders.
• Review ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for accuracy.
• Conduct internal coding audits and provide feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate documentation and coding.
• Stay current with coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data privacy in all processes.
