Job summary

This role focuses on supervising coders, reviewing charts, and coordinating with physicians for signatures on services. The position requires CPC credentials, knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT, and strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• CPC certification and knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Proficient with PC applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with AHIMA/CPC certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of coding staff and manage schedules.
• Review documentation to ensure accurate diagnoses and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians to obtain signatures and resolve coding issues.
• Support compliance audits and revenue cycle initiatives.
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff and maintain positive relationships.
