Job summary

CIFC Health in Danbury, CT seeks a full-time Lead Medical Assistant in our Pediatric Department. You will work directly with Providers to coordinate Medical Assistant assignments, communication with patients, and patient flow to boost throughput while maintaining quality care.

You will train and supervise the daily clinical support operations, including scheduling and supervision of Medical Assistants. Some shifts may include late afternoon/early evenings and occasional Saturday morning hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certificate preferred but not required.
• Two years of medical office experience or equivalent.
• AA degree preferred.
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the Health Center’s daily clinical support operations related to scheduling and supervision of Medical Assistants.
• Collaborate with Providers to facilitate proper Medical Assistant assignments and patient flow.
• Ensure efficient patient communication and contribute to higher patient throughput.
• Work with Providers to enable a larger volume of patients while maintaining quality care.
• Occasional late afternoon/early evening and Saturday morning shifts.

CIFC Health seeks to hire a full-time Lead Medical Assistant (MA) to work in our Pediatric Department. This position works directly with the Providers to facilitate proper Medical Assistant assignment, patient communication and patient flow. This enables the providers to see a larger volume of patients while rendering quality medical care. This position is also directly responsible for the training and supervision of the Health Center’s daily clinical support operations related to scheduling and supervision of Medical Assistants. Some shifts require late afternoon / early evenings & ocassional Saturday morning hours.

Requirements

Successful candidates must posses a high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required), supervision experience, and two years of appropriate medical office experience (or equivalent); AA preferred.
