Job summary

CIFC Health seeks a full-time Lead Medical Assistant to support our Pediatric Department in Danbury, CT. You will work with Providers to coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and MA assignments, enabling providers to see more patients while maintaining quality care.

You will lead the clinical support team, train staff, supervise daily operations, and participate in scheduling. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply; AA or higher degrees are preferred, and related Medical Assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Supervision experience.
• Two years of appropriate medical office experience.
• AA degree preferred.

CIFC Health seeks to hire a full-time Lead Medical Assistant (MA) to work in our Pediatric Department. This position works directly with the Providers to facilitate proper Medical Assistant assignment, patient communication and patient flow. This enables the providers to see a larger volume of patients while rendering quality medical care. This position is also directly responsible for the training and supervision of the Health Center’s daily clinical support operations related to scheduling and supervision of Medical Assistants. Some shifts require late afternoon / early evenings & ocassional Saturday morning hours.

Requirements

• Successful candidates must posses a high school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required)
• supervision experience
• two years of appropriate medical office experience (or equivalent)
• AA preferred
