Job summary

CIFC Health seeks to hire a full-time Lead Medical Assistant (MA) to work in our Pediatric Department. This role works directly with Providers to coordinate MA assignments, patient communication and patient flow, helping the team see more patients while preserving high-quality care.

The Lead MA is responsible for training and supervising the clinic's daily clinical support operations related to scheduling and supervision of Medical Assistants.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certificate is preferred but not required.
• Experience in medical office supervision is desired.
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MA assignments with Providers and manage patient flow.
• Train and supervise daily clinical support operations and MA scheduling.
• Occasional late shift hours (late afternoon/early evening) and Saturday mornings.

CIFC Health seeks to hire a full-time Lead Medical Assistant (MA) to work in our Pediatric Department. This position works directly with the Providers to facilitate proper Medical Assistant assignment, patient communication and patient flow. This enables the providers to see a larger volume of patients while rendering quality medical care. This position is also directly responsible for the training and supervision of the Health Centers' daily clinical support operations related to scheduling and supervision of Medical Assistants. Some shifts require late afternoon / early evenings & ocassional Saturday morning hours.

Requirements

Successful candidates must posses a high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required), supervision experience, and two years of appropriate medical office experience (or equivalent); AA preferred.
