The candidate should demonstrate leadership, training and communication strengths, plus a commitment to compassionate patient care, with experience in EMR and a valid Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Successfully performs the responsibilities of a Senior Medical Assistant.
• Leads the day to day work and productivity of patient care staff.
• Advise and assist staff on problem solving patient/customer concerns; as well as address issues associated with clinic operations.
• Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.
• Serves as clinical preceptor to enhance training and improve any skill deficiency amongst staff.
• Aids management in scheduling, daily work assignments, hiring, training, employee engagement, performance management, identifying areas for service or operational improvement.
