The incumbent will demonstrate strong clinical skills, train staff, and help optimize scheduling, performance, and staff engagement while upholding OSUP standards and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Medical Assistant experience, may include internal or external experience.
• Internal candidates: 2 years tenure with OSUP, with one year in a Senior role; external candidates: 2 years Certification or 7 years MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day work and productivity of patient care staff.
• Advise and assist staff on problem solving patient/customer concerns; address clinic operations issues.
• Perform routine specialized medical procedures per clinical protocol.
• Serve as clinical preceptor to enhance staff training and skill development.
• Aide management in scheduling, hiring, training, engagement, performance, and operations improvements.
