Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support patient care across clinics. You will assist with exams, collect vital signs, prepare charts, administer medications under supervision, and coordinate scheduling and documentation to ensure smooth operations.

You'll work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, uphold patient confidentiality, and engage in training and support for new staff while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Must obtain CMA, RMA, NCMA, CMA, CCMA, NRCMA or NPCE MA within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completion within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts and ensure documentation is complete.
• Assist with exams, procedures, and diagnostic equipment as directed.
• Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision.
• Schedule procedures, labs, x-rays, and surgeries; provide pre- and post-surgery information.
• Coordinate patient follow-ups and referrals; maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Support training and orientation for new staff; cross-coverage in clinics as needed.
