Qualifications

• Certification AND 2 years of tenure with OSUP, with one year being in a Senior role
• 2 Years of tenure with OSUP, with one year being in a Senior role AND
• A minimum of 7 years prior MA experience, may be inclusive of internal or external experience
• 2 years Certification or 7 years of Medical Assistant Overall experience
• Current BLS Certification. Experience with EMR. Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads the day to day work and productivity of patient care staff
• Advises and assists staff on problem solving patient/customer concerns; as well as address issues associated with clinic operations
• Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as dictated by protocol
• Serves as clinical preceptor to enhance training and improve skills
• Aids management in scheduling, daily work assignments, hiring, training, engagement, performance management
