Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to support clinic operations and patient care. The role emphasizes strong clinical skills, leadership, and the ability to train and mentor staff across experience levels.

The position reports to management and focuses on day-to-day supervision, staff productivity, and problem-solving patient concerns while maintaining high standards of compassionate care.

Responsabilidades

• Successfully performs the responsibilities of a Senior Medical Assistant.
• Leads the day to day work and productivity of patient care staff.
• Advise and assist staff on problem solving patient/customer concerns; as well as address issues associated with clinic operations.
• Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.
• Serves as clinical preceptor to enhance training and improve any skill deficiency amongst staff.
• Aids management in a variety of areas such as but not limited to scheduling, daily work assignments, hiring, training, employee engagement, performance management, identifying areas for service or operational improvement, and reinforcing established expectations from management, and scheduling.
