Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to supervise the clinic MA team and ensure smooth daily operations in our Snoqualmie facility. You’ll oversee equipment checks, patient flow, and back-office tasks while upholding our standards of care and service.

You’ll lead orientation and ongoing training, coordinate staff coverage with the Clinical Practice Manager, and partner on quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification or registration active with the State of Washington.
• Currently employed as a full-time Medical Assistant with 1+ year clinic experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with diverse clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure MA responsibilities are completed and documented for quality.
• Direct daily back-office needs and scheduling to maintain workflow.
• Provide orientation and ongoing training for new MA hires.
• Maintain communication with Clinical Practice Manager and address issues.
• Provide back-up/float MA coverage across SVH clinics.
• Complete annual CE focusing on leadership and MA skills.
