Job summary

myPlace Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to support Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) participants in an onsite center in California. You will perform intake, prepare participants for visits, and document in the EMR while coordinating with the IDT.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, blood draws, injections, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical area.

Qualifications

• For safety-sensitive roles, relevant MA certification is required.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred with 4–6 years in clinical settings.
• Certification in medical assisting and active credentials are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, record vital signs, and prepare for examinations.
• Draw blood, administer injections, and document results in EMR.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure equipment sterility.
• Support clinic operations and basic administrative tasks.
• Guide junior staff and escalate complex issues to supervisors as needed.
