Talentify is seeking an experienced Lead Medical Assistant to guide our clinical team in a fast-paced podiatry practice. The role emphasizes mentoring, supporting physicians, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

The Lead Medical Assistant acts as the primary resource for the MA staff, bridges management and clinical operations, and helps develop training initiatives to ensure efficient workflows and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant program completion or 3+ years of clinical experience.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• 3 years of healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes, CPT/ICD coding preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary resource and point of contact for Medical Assistant staff.
• Lead by example with professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
• Plan for physician and clinic needs to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Train and onboard new Medical Assistants and educate staff on procedures.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring Medical Assistant candidates.
• Support staff scheduling and clinic coverage.
• Oversee medical supply inventory and coordinate ordering.
• Assist with annual MA evaluations and performance reviews.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality.
• Perform MA clinical duties and assist physicians with patient care.
