Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant IV to join our patient-focused clinic team in Washington. Under a licensed practitioner, you will perform duties across MA I-III and lead ambassadors, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.

You will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with the care team, ensuring patient privacy and compassionate service for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 3 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Lead ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.
