Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant IV to support patient care under a licensed practitioner’s delegation. This role builds on MA I-III responsibilities and includes leadership of ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or equivalent.
Two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
Within 30 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Minimum 3 years of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment with discretion handling confidential data.
Within last 3 years, 6 months working in PSJH clinic or 18 months as Lead MA in clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Perform duties under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in patient care.
Serve in a leader role or oversee ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.
