Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Lead Medication Technician for a 2nd shift to provide compassionate care and leadership in medication administration. You will supervise Med Techs and Care Partners, ensuring safety and personalized care plans for residents.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, detail orientation, and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning training, audits, and collaboration with the Health and Wellness Director to optimize resident well-being.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medication administration experience.
• At least 1 year as supervisor in charge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication administration with safety protocols.
• Train and mentor staff on med management.
• Ensure breaks for Med Techs and Care Partners.
• Develop individualized care plans with Health and Wellness Director.
• Monitor residents' responses and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate medication records.
• Order and receive medication.
• Audit medication storage and handling.
• Review MARs and pharmacy records for errors.
• Educate residents and families on meds.
• Assist with scheduling.
• Provide engagement and companionship.
• Assist daily med administration per care plan.
