Job summary

The Retreat at Jasper in Jasper, Georgia is seeking Med Techs to join their team as Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide. Shift: Mon-Fri; every other weekend; 3pm-11pm.

The Med Tech is responsible for monitoring residents' health and well-being, assisting with medication care, and supporting wellness initiatives. You will document care, coordinate with the Wellness Nurse and families, and contribute to the daily quality assurance and resident support services in our assisted living setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Medication Aide or meet state requirements for medication aide
• Minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living, Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications, and assist with medication care in residents' plans
• Support the Wellness Nurse with wellness visits and PSP documentation
• Monitor residents' health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Communicate with resident support services and families as needed
• Contribute to clinical quality assurance and overall wellness of residents
