Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. seeks a Lead Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist in Manchester, PA to maintain and optimize critical automation assets.

You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems, perform PMs, and lead improvements that boost safety, quality, and throughput. You will document work orders, logs, and equipment histories, support installs and startups, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to drive reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing/food production.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset.
• Comfort with mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
• Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Hands-on with tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic gear.
• Organized, collaborative, and self-directed.
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

• Contribute ideas and actions to continuous improvement projects.
• Support plant shutdowns, changeovers, and priority initiatives.
• Uphold a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
• Follow safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Must-Haves

• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing/food production.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset.
• Comfort with mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Hands‑on with tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic gear.
• Organized, collaborative, and self‑directed.
• Available for overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Trade school, apprenticeship, or technical degree in maintenance, mechatronics, industrial or electrical technology.
• Experience with PLCs, automation platforms, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.
• Skilled‑trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).
• Food manufacturing background and familiarity with GMPs.
