Job summary

Boulder Connect seeks a senior mechanical design engineer to drive the full lifecycle of advanced X-ray imaging systems from concept to manufacturing. You will design, prototype, test, and refine integrated mechanical, electrical, software, motion, and thermal components.

You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, ensure manufacturability and compliance, and collaborate with suppliers and production to deliver safe, reliable products.

Qualifications

• Expertise in mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling with emphasis on thermal management and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and uphold product quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full product lifecycle for advanced X-ray imaging systems from concept through manufacturing.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, software, motion, and thermal components; mentor engineers.
• Improve manufacturability and assembly; support suppliers and production to ensure safe, compliant products.
