Green Bay Packaging Inc. seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor/Planner to lead safety initiatives and manage daily and long-range planning for the maintenance team.

The role emphasizes reliability, predictive maintenance adoption, and cross-department collaboration to improve overall operations. The ideal candidate brings engineering or equivalent experience in a highly automated heavy-industrial setting, plus leadership and budgeting skills to drive cost-effective maintenance and skill

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering preferred; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years in progressively responsible mechanical roles in a highly automated, large-scale industrial setting.
• Strong communication, business acumen, budgeting and capital expenditure experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives to ensure an accident-free, safe, and productive workforce.
• Plan and prioritize day-to-day and long-range goals for the team.
• Develop and execute maintenance planning and scheduling; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to align with AKD's visions and strategies.
• Support maintenance training programs to grow skilled craftspeople.
