Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; substitution possible with other education or work experience.
• Minimum of six years’ industry experience.
• Experience managing a scope of work valued over $1MM.
• Strong understanding of planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of business and/or financial principles to project and monitor expenses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and ability to read technical docs and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinating and scheduling work activities of tradespeople and laborers, conveying instructions to project staff.
• Conducting preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors before phases.
• Planning manpower and personnel needs onsite.
• Leading toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Managing safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project.
