Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer license in Alabama or ability to reciprocity within 90 days of hire.
• 7+ years of mechanical/piping engineering and project management in industrial or process facilities.
• Experience leading projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing client-facing work.
• Knowledge of ASME codes (B31.3/B31.1), ANSI, API, ASTM, TEMA, and CEMA.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager or lead discipline engineer on industrial projects from inception to construction completion.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource coordination across multiple projects.
• Coordinate engineers across disciplines to ensure safe, timely, compliant designs.
• Direct designers, review deliverables, mentor junior engineers.
• Produce scopes of work, technical documents, and reports; support multi-discipline proposals.
