Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects across on-site assignments. The role emphasizes client-focused leadership, effective communication, and meticulous budgeting to ensure successful project delivery.

Based on assignment, work locations will vary with a primary emphasis on Charleston, SC-area projects. The ideal candidate will bring a BS/BA in a related field, professional certifications, strong organizational skills, and a proven track

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• PMP, CCM or equivalent certification would be asset.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR Training.
• Experience managing budgets for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Development and management of all project documentation.
• Schedule and lead project hand-off meetings to gather important job information.
• Prepare construction budgets by studying plans and specifications and projecting costs.
• Obtain appropriate permits and finalize Schedule of Values.
• Build and manage the project schedule with field supervisors.
• Prepare/reviews subcontracts and purchase orders; negotiate terms and prices.
• Contractually manage subcontractors; coordinate vendor/subcontractor forms.
