Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Mechanical in the United States (Hanahan, SC) to lead complex mechanical projects from initiation through closeout. You will supervise PMs, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, manage budgets, schedules and safety, and deliver results aligned with client goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, contracts mastery, and a proven track record in project management within a mechanical/MEP context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college, military training or technical school with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Experience leading, motivating and managing project/program teams of varying sizes.
• Drive for results and accountability of business needs.

Responsibilities

• Determine project needs, constraints and responsibilities to meet customer facilities requirements.
• Supervise/mentor other project managers or assistant PMs.
• Review contracts and understand contractual rights, remedies, responsibilities.
• Provide leadership to the team and resolve issues throughout the project duration.
• Oversee project team and maintain safety, quality, productivity requirements.
• Provide on-site leadership to meet project goals and milestones.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct reviews.
• Delegate tasks to subordinate PMs, contractors, and laborers.
• Track and control outcomes to resolve issues and critical path deliverables.
• Assist in interview/selection of new PMs.
• Manage total construction effort per budget.
• Develop SME in vertical market from sales to operations.
• Assist in preparation of MEP assessments and engineering reports.
• Coordinate project-specific engineering and schedule between property and contractors.
• Prepare scope of work and project specifications.
• Coordinate project schedule
• Approve invoices and issue purchase orders.
• Provide complete closeout documentation and warranty coverage.
