Boyd Thermal Solutions Inc. is seeking a Junior Thermal Research Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on innovative thermal management for high-performance electronics and data centers. You will work on liquid and two-phase cooling, develop models, and contribute to data-driven decisions and test plans.

The role involves DOE, experimentation, and CAD work using SolidWorks. Relocation may be offered and sponsorship is not available for immigration requirements in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with thermal management for data centers is preferred.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role; relocation may be offered.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal management systems including liquid and two-phase cooling.
• Create and evaluate thermal-fluid models for system performance.
• Apply DOE and experimental testing for validation.
• Develop CAD models and documentation (SolidWorks, P&IDs).
• Support prototype development and data center cooling analysis.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate new cooling tech and optimize efficiency.
