Job summary

Boyd Thermal Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain control systems for industrial cooling applications. You will integrate sensors, controllers, and actuators to optimize cooling performance in data-center environments.

The role requires 3+ years in control systems design, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA development, with on-site work and travel as needed. Bachelor’s in EE/Mech/Control, plus HVAC exposure, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design control system architectures and implement algorithms to adjust cooling capacity based on real-time data.
• Program and configure controllers and develop HMI/SCADA interfaces for data-center cooling.
• Commission, test, and validate control systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting for cooling projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation for control system designs and maintenance procedures.
