Job summary

Daifuku North America is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee the mechanical aspects of assigned projects. The role includes managing a team of engineers and coordinating project activities to ensure successful delivery on schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate will have a BSME, BSCE, or similar degree, with at least 7 years of experience in industrial equipment design and strong leadership skills. The position requires up to 25% travel and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in design & estimating of industrial equipment.
• Requires strong communication skills for customer/supplier contact.
• Requires minimum 5 years of supervisory experience handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical portion of assigned projects.
• Supervise a team of three to ten mechanical engineers.
• Plan engineering projects and act as a liaison between teams.
