Job summary

TCOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Packaging Engineer Lead to lead a team focused on the design, production support and testing of electrical/electronic systems for lighter-than-air vehicles and ground facilities.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and packaging design experience with electrical assemblies, preferably in aviation. Occasional travel to NC may be required.

• Mentors engineers and interfaces with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical packaging design for lightweight assemblies in restricted spaces.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to define mechanical requirements.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses and testing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing on standards and cost estimation.
• Lead design reviews and manage manpower planning.
