Job summary

Dematic is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join the team on diverse customer projects. The role requires 100% travel to customer locations across the continental USA, with base pay between $88,000 and $95,000 per year.

This position demands ten years of electromechanical trouble-shooting experience, OSHA 10, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts - OT compensation may apply.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Responsible for quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Responsible for on-site safety, including safety audits.
• Assists with routine equipment trial runs to ensure it meets specifications and installed to Dematic standards.
• Provides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer.
• Assists with training of contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic equipment.
• Writes concise, clear trip reports within Dematic procedures.
• Identifies problems as they occur and recommends steps to tackle them.
• Must be able to travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling.
• Push, pull, crawl, squat, and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditions.
